Is it just me or does this remind you of a beach ball?

This is neither the first or last time that we're seeing plastic transparent trainers. Both Converse and K-Swiss have done their own interpretations and hot on the heels comes Jeremy Scott's offering including trademark wing detail and 'Jeremy' tooth detailing on the tongue.

I just saw these baby's in Size? in Carnaby Street for £119.99. Tacky? Of course but that doesn't stop my inner Timmy Mallet from wanting them. Not sure if I need them but I'm damn sure I'm getting them. Now all I need to do is upgrade my arsenal of Topman socks and i'll be on my way...

Thought I would post something appropriate for a Thursday afternoon...blood bath barbie. Apparently Barbie caught on to the fact that Ken was cheating on her with men so she butchered all of his lovers and decided to have a rather inappropriate romp whilst he fed his feelings. Secret Treasure: Guess Jewelry Launch

Yesterday, Gary and I were invited by the lovely Hannah to attend the Guess launch for their Treasure Garden collection. The event was in the Guess store in Knightsbridge and involved lots of champagne, mini cupcakes and loads of thumping loud music to see us into the evening.

The Guess team were kind enough to also provide a makeover booth where you could be styled up in the new jewelry collection by a Vogue stylist and have a print out picture as a memento. Lovely!

If that wasn't enough the team sent us on our way with a lovely Guess watch that I will Treasure as much as my gold one.

Not shamefully bright, or scarily unwearable, in fact I have a sneaky feeling that this shirt might just go with almost everything in my wardrobe. I'm having a Primark moment. I bought this little varsity baseball jacket a week ago after seeing it on my friend Shane and I had immediate clothes envy. You know that eureka moment when you realise you can make something that is already good that little bit better.

I bought some studs from the Kleins haberdashery in Soho (yes I know i'm a touch late with the whole studding thing) and went to work on studding the heck outta the jacket. Hence some blips in the shoulder but all in all I don't think its that bad, and it only cost me £19. Bargain!

Piere Garroudi AW11: Purple Reign

Sorry for the late post guys I have events coming out of my ears at work right now.

For those that don't know Pierre Garroudi, Garroudi is an east London based designer creating wearable couture for women that dare to excite and titillate with their sexuality.
Garroudi's AW11 collection packed a mighty punch with a torrid of purple pleats that embraced even the smallest fan of fantasy. Assymetric cuts, peak-a-boo cut-outs and pleating were a central theme running throughout the collection and Garroudi's attention to detail and eye for proportion was truly evident.

Distressed head-dresses, innovative cuts and an interesting catwalk sashay had the audience in awe at the craftsmanship that had gone into each design culminating in rapturous applause.

Best bit - the hair-raising head-dresses. Loved the crucifix design.

Following Charlie Le Mindu's triumphant AW11 catwalk show the Blow PR team held one mighty shindig in the heart of east London to celebrate the success of the collection.

Held in association with Babestation - yes the porn channel - the after party was to celebrate everything dark, sordid and downright fun.

Besides the free drink and shamefully fashionable sights on show - both of which there were plenty - the Blow guys held an amazing party with live porn actresses simulating sex in the VIP area alongside porn video's being projected across 3 walls of the venue.

It sounds nasty, but was just general fun and the girls were so nice to talk to even posing with Gary, Alex and I whilst we danced to Lady GaGa's Born This Way.

We even managed to get a sneak peak at Model of the moment Dudley @ D1 models who had earlier that week walked at the Jean-Pierre Braganza show.

Fun indeed!!

The show began with a demon feel and a mahoooosive hat so big that the model beneath it almost seemed to crumble under the weight. Poor girl. The array of geometric graphic prints had a dark and almost ghoulish feel to it mixing shades of grey and neutral toned adorning maxi dress whilst the lace and leather panelled mini dresses screamed of pure rebellion.

The after party also titillated in equal measure. The party at Sketch, central London was packed out and DJ Erol Sabodash killed it with an array of tunes including my new fave 'Dirty Money ft Swizz Beatz - Ass on the floor'.

The Jean Pierre Braganza show was set to be one of the statement shows of the day and judging by the queue at Northumberland House, the word had caught on.

Braganza didn't disappoint. The collection named POSITRONYX is said to be designed for a woman who is a leader and has influences from science fiction and the post-cyber world.

Touches of this were seen all over the show with the statement red and black diamante effect evening gown and some of the androgynous and assymetric cuts.

Statement piece: the belted wool coat. Absolutely stunning and looked like it was made from mongolian wool or alpaca. I need it in my life!!!

Most people that care about Fashion Week are interested in the forthcoming season, the emerging trends, backstage gossip and which models are opening which shows. Me? I'm interested in who's wearing what and to where. Why? Because you can tell a lot about what people wear to see in the upcoming season. Never was the term 'dressing for your mood' more prevalent than at Fashion Week. It sets the tone for not only the season but also yourself. Head-to-toe black can equate to careful or pessimistic. Bright and eccentric can be seen as optimistic and jovial. Even the designer and the season your wearing can be scrutinised.

Picture 2's Alexander Wang Coco bag was the height of 2009 and can be viewed as frugally displaying an old classic whilst the red leather Isabel Marant leggings - fashion forward, bold and unapologetic - look towards a happy AW11 and that is definitely something to cheer about.

Word at H&M is that there are some amazing new developments for men this summer. Khaki coloured utility inspired playsuits for men? You would have never thought it possible, yet the cut and the length leave it looking manly and fashion forward without being too prissy and commanding.

White trousers are also set to be a massive trend whether it be linen, denim or cotton and the key accessory trend hinted towards are desert boots.

H&M have some amazing ones in store at the moment and when I last popped in I saw some gorgeous blue suede effect men's desert boots for less than £40. B-A-RGAIN!

To those of you not in the know - which I wasn't up to a week ago - ombre is a dying technique to create a sort of dip dye effect to the hair. Get it wrong and you could have hair that looks like a tide mark. Get it right and your hair can look absolutely fabulous like this.

What first sparked my obsession was randomly spotting this image of Ashlee Simpson on google.

Striking, I love how sharp the contrast is and how it fades into the auburn. Of course this look is nothing new and has been used in editorial for years, but it is only just now that its appeal is starting to spread. And that is where I come in and jump on the bandwagon.

I need this hair in my life. My pitiful excuse for a fringe is crying out for some loving and at the moment is more sombre than ombre.

I'm really thinking about getting it done but only in blue. What do you guys think. Here a couple pics of my faves...

It has been forever since I've done an outfit post, so I thought I would take this opportunity to jump in front of the camera and do an impromptu post on what I wore to work yesterday.

I think I got a tad gold happy judging by the old ladies reactions on the Underground but oh well. The blue and gold bracelet came from eBay on Saturday and I instantly loved it and surprisingly it fit my wrist. Result!

This thus means that I will be forever wearing this in my quest to stack up my wrists like a giant Jenga.

Oh and I forgot. The shorts. Yes I know its a little cold for shorts, but I am really hot blooded, so much so that I had the air conditioning on full blast in my office. I hate any form of heat especially still, stifling heat with no fresh air. So out came the legs.

Oh and I'm thinking about changing my hair, but more details on that tomorrow. I've seen something on Ashlee Simpson - I can't believe it either - that I wanna try to rock.

Can you believe I missed this at Berlin Fashion Week!!!

Something's usually wrong when I am more concerned with the hair than the clothing from a catwalk. However AF Vandevorst's A/W11 collection colors the catwalk with warm autumn beige shades paired with grey tones.

The focus here is mainly on knitwear and jersey compositions, re-edited in different variations, from lighter knits with leather and silk inserts to cardigans and sweaters in thicker wool. Fluid viscose rayon double faced adds elegance to slouchy dresses and tops. The waist is emphasized by elaborate leather belts, while the garments leave a bared shoulder, feminine touches in a collection almost unisex. The clothes are absolutely wearable and versatile.

Maison Martin Margiela Armour Jacket

I am in two minds about this jacket. On the one side I appreciate the crafstmanship, the finely woven leather, and the innovative approach to menswear on display here, and on the other hand I feel like it's a little bit lacklustre and not truely representative of Margiela's typical designs.

Margiela typically creates understated garments that lend your attention to the detailing without screaming for attention. Whereas this jacket seems to beg for attention without fully warranting your affections. To be honest, the finish on the jacket - to me - looks a little rough and if you didn't know better could be dismissed as being part of a High School graduate's first collection which is a shame because I adore everything that Margiela creates usually.

The fit and composition is usually splendid and the quality unparalleled.

I don't know if my judgement is shrouded by the models oddly bulbous head but to me the jacket loosely reminds me of a more grown-up, gentlemanly version of the Jeremy Scott cage jacket without the club kid brashness and mock sports luxe feel.

Oh and did I forget to mention that this jacket costs £7,500??

Jimmy Choo have longed been internationally reknowned for creating luxurious (if not sometimes tacky) shoes for women the world over and have just announced that they will be launching a brand new line of menswear for A/W11.

So excuse me for thinking that the brand would create something fashion forward, trend-driven, urban and edgy that would take men from desk-to-dancefloor in no time.

The press release even dared to say '...a desirable range of footwear for men...'

Key word - Desirable...

Please inform me as to which piece is desirable. I know your not telling me that that embroidered slipper is remotely desirable and if I needed to comment on that 2-buckled faux biker boot the only adjective I could use would be 'beastly'.

Look what Christian Louboutin has done for mens footwear taking fine detailing to an extreme and making something covetable yet masculine.

One word - Huh? Who is this supposed to be? This Kan't be Khloe Kardashian on the cover of YRB magazine. She looks like a kar krash. If there was ever proof that Kris favoured Kim over the others it is the embodiment of this photoshoot.
Where is the loveable mess that is the Nicky Hilton of the Kardashian household? Now don't get me wrong, I am glad she has FINALLY gotten her dues and stepped out of the Kim limelight, but why is she looking like a bad, Lisa Marie Presley circa '2002.

Is that even her real skin colour? Why is she wearing a skinless sausage around her neck? And what is she wearing on her head? Is that a gimp mask? I can't bear. On the plus side, those McQueen heels kill me.

One word springs to mind with the arrival of these shoes. JOY. I have wanted these Kanye West for Louis Vuitton for SOOO long I can't even express mhy jubilation when they arrived. And Just in time for Berlin too!!

I was so happy when they arrived that I was actually scared to wear them because I didn't want to scuff or damage them, which is my usual party trick when it comes to footwear.

But I have however gotten over that and am now more than happy to wear them all around town. Including wearing them clubbing yesterday (I know, clubbing on a Wednesday) to which they narrowly avoided a slosh of red wine and my friend being sick. Classy!

Anyhow, I'm sure I will get round to doing an outfit post at some point this week. Oh and note to self, I must update some Berlin pics sharpish!!

Kate Moss Snogs Lea T On The Cover Of LOVE Magazine

Tut tut tut, I finally get back to London yesterday and what do I find. 1) It is raining like hell outside - eek and 2) Kate Moss is up to her old tricks again. Not happy kissing Agyness Deyn, Beth Ditto and Alice Dellal, Moss fronts the cover of Love magazine this time sporting Charlize Theron's quiff from Monster and looking a 'tache more manly than we've previously seen her. I'm not gonna lie. She looks hot and so does Lea T.

My only problem lies with the shoot itself. It is so obvious for them to flip the gender roles by making Moss the male to Lea T's female, but Lea manages to look utterly gorgeous as a female so much so that you would never know that she was transgendered which was obviously the point. I do however feel that this shoot is just a bit lazy by taking trying to create a 'shock' tactic that simply isn't shocking. Beautiful, yes, but shocking? Hardly.

And the fact that they tried to say that This Is Hardcore proves that it is lazy editorial at its worst. Well done to Lea for the cover though and well done to Moss for rocking a model in her 20's. She's still got it.

Berlin Here I Come

Can you believe it people. I am actually going on holiday tomorrow. Me. Holiday. The words don't belong together in a single sentence. They are a modern day oxymoron and yet I find myself taking a holiday or should we say a 'short break' to Berlin. 4 days to be exact. I am deleriously excited for what awaits me. And the best part? The price. £80 inlcuding flight, hotel and transportation.

Can anyone say bargain!!

Looks like Nicki got her wish. She is officially the hottest lady in hiphop right now. Hit album, Hot hair, haute styling (not so sure on that one) she has landed a coveted cover of V Magazine proving that she really is a global issue. I love that she has toned down the overall aesthetic for the cover and instead sets a tone that she is a credible artist and is here to talk about her music... and besides that I am loving the '69' in the corner of the cover. One of iUNDEREYE's favourite London based designers Charlie Le Mindu has been chosen as part of Selfridges' 'Bright Young Thing' sheme where they are choosing their favourite people to do one window. I'm sorry but the styling and the overall aesthetic is on point and that candy floss wig kills me, but it's just like Le Mindu to create something visually tantalising with hair!! Go Charlie, Go. Selfridges are showing other designers including Alex Noble, Craig Lawrence and Sophie Stevens, but today belongs to Charlie. I can't wait til the A/W11 show.

I can't believe I randomly found this yesterday. I crashed at one of my best friend Alex's house on Saturday and we ended up doing the most random crap. Eating a WHOLE gateaux, playing Nintendo 64, watching My Super Ex Girlfriend, and laughing at Snookie from Jersey Shore. Best Saturday night ever.

It wasnt until he fell asleep that I looked through his laptop (because I'm nosy as hell) and amongst the posey drunk pictures I found this painting that he did of me when we first met light years ago (4 years to be exact).

It has finally arrived. The latest addition to the accessories family. It came yesterday. Unexpected but eagerly awaited. Weighing 142grams it is a little heavier than my other babies, but it looks perfect with all my other gold bits and pieces.

It is also a little shinier than I expected but I am ecstatic nonetheless. I bought it to work today and my boss told me that it was a dog collar and then the penny dropped. Collier de chien - dog collar. I have never felt so dumb!!

It was a present from the boyf's mum for Christmas (how generous is she!!) I had wanted the Hermes Collier De Chien since I saw it on Pharrell about 2 years ago and instantly knew it would be destined to be one of those things I lusted for, but could never really afford.

Albino Models: Beauty or Beast

The term 'beast' may seem a bit harsh but these models have all said they have received unprecedented abuse in their lives let alone their modelling career. Shaun Ross even cites that at school he was referred to as "cum".

I personally see each one as beautiful and unique in their own way. In a time when we are moving away from colour why are these models not booked as regularly as others? Is it just that a specific look lasts a certain trend or time, or is it that these models are good for illustrating diversity within the industry and remain the Crystal Renn of the albino world.

I could go on and on, what do you guys think?

Sorry for the lack of posts people I have been mad busy eating til near explosion and watching Harry Potter with the parentals. Very fun!

I just thought I would combine an outfit post with some of my new purchases, sales bargains and bits that will last me right through the poorest month of the year.

Lets start with the boots. I bought these Hudson strappy boots for £36 in Schuh can you believe it, from £140! ultimate bargain. The chain is gorgeous and was a cute little buy from Topshop. Its suede and antique gold and was only £9

The shorts (totally off season but whatever) were £8 from Topman. I felt compelled to buy them as I can NEVER find shorts to fit my shape in summer when I need them andt he hat was an xmas present and will A) be a style reference point in January and B) stop me killing myself when I have horrendous hair at the end of the month.

The safety pins are also a little present to myself so I can customise another top. I have an idea in mind so watch this space but i'm thinking of something a little more outlandish so who knows how it will end up.

Have any of you guys been sale shopping. I went to Selfridges too late and I swear I saw tumbleweed the shelves were so bare. Sigh!

I love the odd bit of snow. And I do mean the odd bit, not a blizzards worth. I took the fact that I have eaten 200 mince pies and a ton of turkey to take a walk in the park. And not just any walk - A Birkin walk and not just any park, this gorgeous park in Grosvenor Square. I am in absolute love with it. It was an early Christmas pressie from the boyf who completely surprised me with it. It's the 40cm, so you can literally put EVERYTHING in it.

However, despite looking like I am strolling freely with it, I am ridiculously nervous that someone is going to run over to me and snatch it out my hands. Thus I will only use it on special occassions and at times when there is minimal risk of me spilling, dropping, or smeering anything on to it.

Sample Sale

Today at work, we had our annual Pre-Christmas sample sale where we get rid of all the final bits in the cupboard before the next season goes into full swing.

Usually I don't manage to get anything amazing for me as I am one size above sample size (size 10 mens). But today the Christmas God's were looking down on me and I managed to get a pair of these bottle green Bertie brogues for myself. How gorgeous are they with the socks!!

I also managed to get some bits for all the women in my family. Gucci Wedges for my aunt, Prada strappy sandals for my other aunt and cute flat Dolce and Gabbana ballerina pumps for my mum.

And to top it off I managed to get it all for UNDER £40 bargain of the century. Yay Christmas!!!

Yesterday's inspiration: Boredom. I was completely snowed in and couldn't get any public transport ANYWHERE so wanted to play around with a new tshirt from H&M and make it into something cool that would look a little different. My starting reference was one of Pelayo's t-shirts (see here) that I really liked the look of, so I started off trying to recreate the cross design which ended up looking absolutely terrible. I quickly thought F**k this and started pinning around the neckline and down the length of the shirt.

Half way through, I noticed that I had pinned through the entire top instead of just the front so had to take everything off and start again. The BF laughed hysterically!

In total I used 197 pins and the whole top cost under £10 (t-shirt 3.50, pack of 200 pins £2.07)

On Monday evening, Company treated us to a party to celebrate their Fashion Awards that they featured in their December issue. The party was held on the 28th floor of the Altitude 360, Millbank tower on a floor specifically designed to view the whole of London. The view was STUNNING. London lit up at 8pm - there is truly nothing quite so beautiful.

It was great to meet the Company fashion girls again with our intern Gemma (who used to work at Company) and to see Laura and Emma getting slightly tipsy dancing to the amazing Pete Lawrie band that played an amazing set.

Hi guys, these are the pictures from my Christmas Party. Well not REALLY the Christmas Party, pretty much me standing in my garden before the party. The Christmas Party images will never see the light of day as a result of my face being RIDICULOUSLY un-photogenic and spasming at every possible photo opportunity. Add to the fact that there was liquor involved and you have a set of 200 unimaginable images.

Before the party I had a massive panic attack about what to wear so I just thought 'keep it casual' and put my trusty Doc Martens with my black shirt and jeans. The only thing I styled up was the £9 Primark jacket. I took the jacket along to the dry cleaners to cut the sleeves off for £10 to update the look and feel, and added a bowtie and some Swarovski sapphire pins for max effect.

As it turns out, the crowd were all well dressed. There were a couple sartorial mishaps... their names remain anonymous and some real style knockouts that completely put me and my outfit to shame.

Ooh can you believe it, I actually won a prize. Nope not Rear of the year, or Best dressed... (*drum roll*) I actually won 'Messiest Desk'. Yup - Messiest Desk with 300 VOTES. How do 300 people even know that I exist let alone vote for me as messiest desk. The moment I got up to collect my award (a mini Henry the hoover) was one of the most shameful EVER. Not to mention that I actually tripped on the stage in my bloody Doc Martens.

Picture the scene. The CEO and Presidents of the company are looking over at me, and I am tripping onto the stage with a glass of wine and a spring roll collecting Messiest Desk.

Can anyone say Pay rise? :-(

Tonight is our Staff Christmas Party. The night I have secretly been dreading for 2 weeks. Will I end up drunk singing to Barry Manilow, will I remember all of the peoples names that work in obscure departments like Finance and E-commerce? And most importantly, will I be overdressed.

Nothing strikes me with as much fear as the words 'Smart Casual' what EXACTLY do you mean, do you want me smart or casual? a mixture of both, how does that work? brogues or basketball trainers? T-shirt or dry cleaned shirt?And here in lies my panic.

When you work for a large company most of the time you are a number and not necessarily a name or a face. I don't want people to see me for the first time and recoil in horror. Do I really want to be the most under dressed person at the party? For some reason I find it hard to distinguish between chinos and a Morning Suit, I just can't pick bang in the middle at something that won't offend/startle impressionable Accountants.

...Oh God they're calling me.

I'll let you know how I get on. By the time you read this I will be eating on a dauphinoise potato slugging on my 5th glass of wine.

Well, that was one of how I felt this morning when one of my favourite songs by Emmie, called More Than This came on my iPod. I had forgotten that I even had it until it came on, and as soon as the beat dropped it reminded me of being 13.

This song was LITERALLY me and my best friend's song all through High School. It's one of those 1999 dance songs that you don't even know why you like but will always remind you of a time, a place - andera. Kind of like ATB - 9am Til I come. Anyone remember that song? Just me? Thought so...

Despite seeing shearling, woolly and fur-lined boots at every turn and in EVERY magazine, I am surprisingly not over them. These Gucci boots restore my faith in the trend. Luxe is an understatement. These boots are more than gorgeous.

Alexander McQueen Sample Sale Today...Must Hurry

I just went to the Alexander McQueen sample sale. One word - AMAZING. For women they had loads of bits. Silk scarves for £80, belts for £50 t-shirts for £40 small handbags £120.

For men, not so much, bowties £40, silk scarves £80, men's t-shirts £50-£60 and silk ties for £30. So overall not so bad.

Apparently, they even had a private bidding section where you could bid for the exclusives including the Armadillo shoes. I thought they were an urban shoe legend and were for editorial purposes only. Who knew you could actually buy them!

The absolute highlight is the jewellery. This Knuckle Duster was only £100 (unfortunately too small for me) GO AND GET YOURSELF SOMETHING there is loads and it doesn't finish til tomorrow.

First of all, how great is all this snow we're having!!

I can barely leave my flat due to so much snow it's everywhere, on the cars, on the roads...in my hair. It makes me look like a salt and pepper shaker. Literally. Shaken and not stirred I end up looking like a younger version of Bill Cosby. And that just aint pretty!

Besides the snow, I think it's fair to say I'm having a red moment, or to be honest - a maroon moment. I've never really been a fan of red...I always thought it made my skin colour seem like a bit...bruised plum. So instead I am loving this maroon shade on me. Not quite red, not quite brown it lifts my skin tone the same way that pumpkin and moss do in a way I can't quite describe. It's like when redheads wear cobalt blue, or when you see Carey Mulligan's short hair. You're not quite sure why you like it or why it works, it just does. So can be said with my love of maroon.

This leather lined cardigan is absolutely gorgeous, and surprisingly for leather, it actually keeps me surprisingly warm. Pair that with some oh-so-new Bertie brogues (that were ruined in the snow ON THE FIRST WEAR) and some woolly socks and I feel like I am prepared to take on the world.

I wonder if I can get this style ankle boot in a ski version...

Omg I can't remember the last time I did an outfit post. I've been itching to get in front of the camera and pose - like an idiot - all in the name of getting a couple good outfit shots, and as you can see, I'm REALLY not photogenic.

However I love this outfit. A while ago, one of my readers asked why I was always dressed so extroverted and so young. I think that I was just at that stage in my style where I wanted to play around with colours, styles and style identities to see what would fit.

This is my fit.

I feel that my style now is a little bit more grown up, a bit more put together and I owe it all to playing around, seeing what was me, and experimenting to find out what works...and more importantly what doesn't.

Yes, I still have the Mickey Mouse trainers....and the cage jacket, but I think I am moulding more into investment pieces rather than throwaway fashion... however if I see another multi-coloured tacky Jeremy Scott trainer I won't be accountable for my actions...

What a clever idea, Nicki Minaj for MAC cosmetics, who would have thought it. What better way to celebrate the 'Black Barbie's' new album launch - Pink Friday - than by giving her her own lipstick that will be in-stores for four friday's. Make much sense? Didn't think so. Basically she will have her own range in store for a whole month. You can't turn your nose up to that can you?

The Dune Group has come back again fighting with a strong collection that really is bang on trend. The Dune & Bertie guys captured our hearts and our imaginations with stunning collections from Bertie and Dune that are perfect for the optimistic spring season ahead.

The design team presented a range of styles that perfectly highlight the key trends for SS11

1970's: Platform heels and wedges, gorgeous wooden clogs and fantastic bright colours. Key colours: Mustards, violet, moss, rust.

1950's: Ditzy prints, gorgeous grown up mid-heel courts, a plethora of colour and a wealth of luxurious colours are comforted with black patent and nude courts in every heel height and an offering of raffia.

Brights: An array of gorgeous colours, finishes, textures. We saw everything. Yellow, fuschia, orange, neon, it seemed that every surface was licked. Like bold, statement heels? you'll know where to look.

Wedges: Don't even get me started with the wedges. The wedges were some of the best I have seen from Dune. Raffia, wooden, platform, espadrille or cork wedges in an offering of heights. Club-stomping or comfortably stylish
